The teaser indicated crews plural. Meaning more than one ship. So more than one Captain?

Thinking about the opposite end of the command chain, maybe a main cast of characters who aren't senior staff. Or hell, aren't even in Starfleet.

It could be a case that we will still generally follow the adventures of one crew aboard one ship, but that they'll hook up with others from time to time, and they'll be reoccurring characters.

I hadn't considered Chris Evans but now that he's come up in a couple of posts I kind of like the idea. I'm still mulling over who my pick would be- I don't want to throw out a whole list of 'maybes', but try and pick the one actor I'd REALLY like to see cast as captain.

I might not exactly want her as captain, but every time I think of an actor/actress I want to see in the new series I'm always brought back to Scarlett Pomers returning with the role of Naomi Wildman from Voyager.

Naomi would probably be a better medical officer or first officer than a captain. But I'm not completely certain of Scarlett Pomers' ability to portray the authority of a captain so I might be wrong.
