Who Ya Gonna Call? 118!

I saw that on TV last night. I'm a huge Ghostbusters fan but I had to turn it off ASAP. Just offensive

Try this one!

Unfortunately in the UK 118-118 sponsors LOST, meaning you get about a minute of them waffling about at the start, end, and the start and end of every commercial break!

And I swear when Channel 4 showed LOST they stuck an extra break or two in!!
They moved the breaks around, and made them as long as possible without breaking the ad placement rules, to try and put the break placements in the same spots as the American ones, so as not to ruin the pace of the show.

Ah if that's the case then my American cousins have my sympathy, I thought our ad breaks were bad enough! But in betwen the teaser and opening credits? Still good on C4 for at least trying to keep in the spirit of the show.

Now as for Sky One - I remember them showing Best of Both Worlds part two and shoving an ad break in the middle of Data's struggle with Locutus's arm!

And they have been guilty of doing it in middle of lines of dialogue in the past too.

Which is against ofcom rules. They're supposed to be in places where there's a natural break in the action, like act outs and ends of scenes, and not interrupt the flow of the story.

The new 118 ads are annoying - the Ghostbusters theme just doesn't scan as well as the A Team theme did
