After seeing the trailer I'm still kinda sorta interested in the new film. I'm okay with the new cast but the new Enterprise bugs me the most, especially the bridge.

Anyway, just throwing this out there for anyone to weigh in on..............

If this film is a success at the box office you know the big wigs at Paramount will want to tap into the success of Wrath of Khan and re-do/re-boot the episode "Space Seed" where Kirk and Khan meet.

Who do you think should be cast as Khan?

Johnny Depp, Dana Carvey........................................

I think JJ would make this sequel only so he could get Chekov and Khan to meet since they didn't in the original episode.

I think he would probably go with them meeting in the restroom. Similar to the Seinfeld episode where you see there feet in stalls next to each other and then you hear Khan grumble when he realizes he has no toilet paper and he asks Chekov in the next stall if he can spare a square. Chekov then says he has no sqvare to spare. Khan says he is becoming fatigued and is running late for his dinner with the Captain and that he will take his revenge on Chekov at a later time. Khan than leaves the restroom moist and in a hurry for his meeting with the Captain, without washing his hands.

ewwwwwww

If it's Robin Williams, no more will there be "From Hell's heart I spit at thee" but rather the last few lines of dialogue from him will be as the Genesis Device detonates and he's calling over the Subspace transmitter, crying "I'M Melting . . . MELTING . . . " ala the Wicked Witch of the West.

Well Malcolm McDowell has stepped into Montalban's shoes before. :p

Speaking of Malcolm McDowell, I could actually visualize his nephew Alexander Siddig of Syriana fame in the role of a new, big screen interpretation of Khan Noonien Singh.

I really could see him in this role.

Given the chance, I am sure he could nail the part on the big screen.
