I find that poll to have too many choices. This one narrows it down to the primary characters that played a security officer on the shows.

Odo. Worf's obsession with Klingon 'Honor' got annoying. Reed needed counseling and Tuvok was just another Vulcan who didn't do all that much on Voyager.

Vote for Odo- he would be doing his thing whether of not he was appointed a position- justice was more important to him than anything else.
Worf would be a second choice, but his preoccupation with honor and suddenness to action without thinking things through are negatives (Picard: "Mister Worf, do you plan on shooting the main viewer?"

I haven't watched DS9 all the way through yet, but I really like Odo.

I like Worf too, but he can be a bit of a pain in the ass. He can get bitchy sometimes.

Worf was outsmarted and defeated by ferengis more than once. He once tried to shoot a screen because of the head it was displaying.

Tasha was killed by an oil slick...

Reed betrayed his captain and was thrown in the brig for it.

Tuvok went to work naked and was laughed at by everybody for that.
