Who tech trivia help

Hope some of the encyclopaedic might be able to help here re: some research I'm doing on TV technology...are there any episodes where in-universe characters - not just Doctor and Companion - might use or intereact with:
video recorder to playback taped images
a camcorder to record footage
cable or satellite TV (I vaguely recall maybe wrongly the Simon Pegg episode was media news-related?)

The Doctor uses a video recorder in The Idiot's Lantern. And yes the The Long Game (Simon Pegg episode) was media/news related. Not sure but there might be video/camcorder use in the Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon.

There's Blink of course but that's DVDs not video.
