All the choices I added were ones whose ships frequently appear in Star Trek. Let me know if missed any of them, or if your choice isn't on the poll

For me, it's the Klingons, simply due to the Klingon BoP, which is my favorite ship in the series.

I voted Human…though that should be Federation, ENT be damned. It would have been Romulan otherwise, primarily for the warbird.

When I first saw the D'Kora, I thought the smaller craft on the underside was a delta-wing craft facing aft--a quick escape arrowing deal.

It was just a smaller fork.

trek didn't really do much smaller craft until DS9

That actually was intended by Sternbach to be a small detachable craft. Even though they haven't shown it as such yet, they still could at some point.

I voted "other" for Federation Starfleet designs. Even if most of them came from shipyards in the Sol System, there were likely non-Humans working on those designs too.

I couldn't vote for them based on what little we saw, but I feel like Bajoran ships will be really cool once Bajor gets its feet under it - maybe they'll have elements inspired by both Federation and the spoonheads' technologies, but with the unique Bajoran aesthetic applied at starship scale.

(I'm not counting the jury-rigged, Star Wars-esque vessels we saw in DS9 as part of that aesthetic, obviously!)

FASA had some interesting 23rd century Federation designs that were built by Andorians, such as the Loknar, Thufir and the (well, yeah) Andor.

The Federation's variety of member worlds should be reflected in Starfleet's variety of ship designs. They're not really a Homo Sapiens-only club anymore. :D

IMO StarFleet is it's own Organization/Entity, yes it represents all of the UFP, but it borrows aspects, technology from all member worlds/races.

Every species will have their own unique flair for their local defense force ship design, but StarFleet is definitely it's own design language that might have evolved from Earth, but evolved bit by bit as new species were added and knowledge/tech that made sense gets integrated.

I always found it amusing that FASA never clarified how those designs reflected specific Andorian influences, honestly. :rommie: There was a lone Tellarite design in one of the modules.

Most of the Andorian designs were more combat oriented. With later ones having the warp nacelles in close proximity to each other with part of the hull covering them from forward angles. The Chandley-class was Martian, but people thought it looked Andorian due to its nacelle placement and heavy combat focus.

I voted "other" for Federation Starfleet designs, too.
My favorites are NCC 1701 (Enterprise), NCC-74656 (Voyager) and NCC 1764 (Defiant).
