Which Quadrant has the coolest Species...

If you could hang out in any Quadrant, with any species, which one would you choose?? Alpha: has Humans, Breen, Cardassa, Ferengi, Tholians, Trill
Beta: has Humans, since the dividing line between Alpha and Beta runs right through the Sol Sector Vulcans, Risa, Klingons, Romulans, Andoria...
Gamma: Has the Founders, Jem-Hadar, Vorta, Karemma, New Bajor, Idran
Delta, Since Voyager had ran right through the DQ for 7 years we have more information on the DQ than the GQ. Delta: Has Ocampa, Talax, Kazon, Vidiian, Devore, Vaadwaur, Borg.

Each Quadrant also has many un-named and uncontacted species. Admiral Janeway mentions several species that Voyager would have run into if they did not take the Trans-Warp hub shortcut back to the Federation. Also, Capt Ransom mentions several species that Equinox had run into. So choose between: Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma???

Hmm...that's a toughie.

Before Voyager ruined the Borg, that was undoubtedly a lot of people's favourite species. I always thought the Vidiians could've done with more attention, as there was some real scope to do some exploring about a culture so ravaged by disease, personal morals and ethics become secondary.

The Hierarchy were kinda cool in their own quirky way.

The Vaadwaur seemed good at the time, but were a missed opportunity. And the Kretonan (sp?) Guard Captain Ransom mentions sounds like it could've been interesting.

With there being no Federation, the DQ species can be a little bit more wild and not behave in response to being judged by the Federation.

Having said all this though, the Cardassians are pretty cool - brutal, yet compassionate. Are they totally self-serving? If they'd been strong enough, after defeating the Dominion, would they then have continued the fight against the Federation?

Then... the Klingons have a rich and complex culture (though it seems simplistic on the face of it). And we had another missed opportunity with the Andorians, who were probably the best thing to happen to Enterprise.

I'm really torn... but on sheer number of species that left an impression, I have to vote Delta.

Since the hottest chics were on TOS, and I think most of TOS was either in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant, I'd go with either of them...

1- Alpha/Beta

2- Gamma

All the Delta Quadrant aliens were crap. The Borg were good for a while, but eventually turned crap through overuse and the introduction of a Borg Queen, a Borge MAXIM Model, Borg Kids, and Borg Teens.

Beta quadrant, definately. I agree with RobertScorpio, the absolutely best looking women. Remember, Helen Noel was from the Alpha/Beta quadrant. Plus Saavik is from Vulcan (or Romulus, depending on the backstory), which are both in the Beta Quadrant.

Hell, even our androids in the alpha/beta are sexier!!!

I'll have to vote for Alpha. Any quadrant with the Cardassians in it... ;)

But I actually have to say the Tholians were really cool as well, and the Trill made for interesting stories even if they weren't that visually unusual.

Beta's not bad...Vulcans, Klingons, Romulans, and Andorians were all really cool, too--but I kind of don't like the Klingons all that much, to be honest.

Gamma had a lot of potential we didn't get to see, thanks to the war. So I can't really vote for that simply because I didn't see a lot of the GQ other than the Dominion.

Delta Quadrant had so much potential that was wasted. The Borg just got DESTROYED through overuse, unfortunately.

So, are you saying Data is sexier than Saavik, or Noel?:wtf:

I never saw that there was that much difference. It's all foreheads and hairdos across the board.
