What's "Star Trek: The Final Frontier"?

www.zeroroomproductions.com. A cartoon web series. There's character art, the ugliest Enterprise EVER, storyboards and the script for the pilot episode.
That Enterprise is worse than the McQuarrie designs!

Actually, I liked McQuarrie's Enterprise design...just not as a TOS Enterprise rebuild. That's basically like rebuilding a Volkswagen Beetle into a Ferrari.

^ She killed someone who had kidnapped two of her crew, Tuvok and Neelix.

How? Tuvix took no part in denying the existence of Neelix and Tuvok other than doing what any sentient creature wants to do: survive.

Ahh, but he was complicit in their disappearances.

If you kidnap someone and maintain them in a unconscious state,
you can't then turn around and say "well, they never asked to leave."

Kidnap
–verb (used with object), -napped or -naped, -nap·ping or -nap·ing. to steal, carry off, or abduct by force or fraud, especially for use as a hostage or to extract ransom.

Tuvix didn't do any of those things. He had no control over the events.

He didn't kidnap them. As part of a transport accident the two people were merged, creating a new life form.

If I ever figure out how to travel to alternate universes, one of the first things I'm going to do is hunt down the dvd box sets for Star Trek Phase II.

Are McCoy and Spock guilty of killing the two Kirks in " The Enemy Within"? Did wimp Kirk commit suicide?

I've always wanted to see Trek return to animation, so The Final Frontier sounds interesting

Apples and oranges comparison. The split Kirk's were going to die without being re-integrated. Tuvix from all appearances was a thriving individual.

I'd prefer that all new series (for the foreseeable future,) remain in fanfic / virtual series form and let the readers / viewers decide.

Assignment Earth or the JMS/Zabel reboot - and I'm surprised there's no mention of Robert Wolfe's pitch, which is kind of similar to the Star Trek Federation pitch in that it's set a thousand years or so on, but is way better. (Or was, until it got turned into Andromeda and shat upon)
