Which new alien are you most looking forward to seeing?

I love Andorians. I was hoping that we'd have an Andorian character right from the begining... I am really looking forward to seeing the new Andorians
Also, how do we think the Andorians might be introduced? How big of a role are they likely to play? Will they be friendly or not? I havent yet seen the Andorians in anything outside of Star Trek Enterprise so I dont know how they interacted with the Federation in the series after. Are they still the headstrong and indepenent race I know from Enterprise?

 

If you watched all of Enterprise, that's about 99% of the Andorians you'll see in Trek. Aside from TOS "Journey to Babel," they've just been background aliens.

I would love an Andorian officer. We've never had a speaking Andorian officer.

 

Does the ship USS Shran count? It is named after an Andorian after all!

 

I figured. Yeah, we almost had Shran as a member of the bridge crew on Enterprise but that never happened for some reason. Shran <3

 

That made me happy when I heard it. Shran is not forgotten!!

 

I'd like to see the El-Aurian backstory fleshed out and explained in an episode or two. It's one of those many things that were left out from TNG. El-Aurians probably aren't that much different from humans to look at though.

 

Someone should start a campaign for a Starfleet Captain Shran tv series.

 

I want a Xindi crewmember. Show that "breaking bread with our enemies" that Edison was furious about in Beyond.

Love to see some more Andorians. Also would be cool to see more Saru's race, Kelpheins.

 

How about the Sheliak? I imagine they would use CGI to create them. I think they could be made to be scary.

I'd suggest M'Ress or her species at least. It would get all the furries to sign up to CBSAA
