far tooo many to choose from.. narrow it down to 5 then come back..
 
Why not have him do a custom one for you to your own specs? That way it can be one of a kind.

Were you planning to get a conversion kit to turn it into a functional Force-FX-style or just have the prop?
 
I wouldn't even be able to begin to design anything.

I have an idea of what I'd like it to look like. I just don't know how to get the ideas on paper so that it's clear to the designer what I'd like.

The overall shape without the folding tools coming out of it. I think it's similar to Sidious/Palpatine's saber, curves and whatnot.
