Oh Lord, not this again! You've just unleashed the fury of hell! (Pssst, you'll discover the answer is the system YOU own.)
The PS3 is obviously the superior system, it has built-in wi-fi, a 120GB hard-drive and free online multiplayer. In contrast, the Xbox needs an ethernet cable, only comes with a 10GB hard-drive, and you can't play online with it any more because MS discontinued it a few months ago. Besides, the Xbox is almost 9 years old, it's ancient! Why do you want us to compare a current-gen console with a previous-gen console anyway?
I have both. I like both. Some games only play on PS3, some games only play on XBOX360, some games are available for both systems. I like the overall flexibility of the PS3 better, but I like the online experience of the XBOX360 better too. So, get both.
Agreed. For games that get released on both consoles, I prefer to play shooters on the Xbox because I think its controller is better for them than the PS3's. But most of my friends also have Xboxes, so I'd say my multiconsole game purchases swing about 80/20 in favor of the Xbox.
I have both. So get both. I also have a Wii. It collects dust near my TV. Used to play more on 360 because of my friends and because that's what I have Rock Band on, but lately I've been putting in more time on the PS3, mainly because of BigFoot.
