Pretty poor poll considering Matt Smith had two radically different TARDIS consoles for a start, and lets not forget Tom Baker's secondary console room

The one that is the same shade of blue as Superman's super suit in Superman III. :bolian:

Smitg's first series had the distinct quality of being the only "modern" iteration of the TARDIS that was blue, clean, and without that damn squeak in the door. As much as the Doctor loves his ride, he can't ever be bothered to invest in a can of WD40, because that squeak is back before too long.

The real kicker is that it's always the same sound effect they use, regardless of how many centuries have gone by. It's as if the TARDIS, aware that its outer plasmic shell is really just approximating a battered wooden box without it actually BEING made of battered wood, plays the same .wav file every time someone opens the door...

You're all crazy. Peter davisons was by far the best because of its unique wibbly-wobblly effect.

I loved the wooden feel of that one. Might be my very favorite from OldWho, excluding the TV Movie version, which is a contender for best ever.

But my fave is the Ninth/Tenth Doctor's, easily. It feels lived in and real, especially compared to the others. The Baker/Davison/Baker/McCoy ones, while different to some degree, were all still invariably the same, and I could never understand why so much free space around the console room. I just can't.

My fave is Nine/Ten's exterior. I like the weathered blue colour, the way the windows looked, the door sign when it was just a door sign and not a snazzy light-up affair. Eleven/Twelve's is pretty, but it's too blue and clean. I did like the way it looked in "The Snowmen" though when Eleven wasn't taking care of it very well. I also kinda like Seven's classic-era exterior.
