When SG:A ends, and just some DVD movies (???) to come in the future, the SG:A actors will be free for other gigs. Who do you want to see in other shows and which ones (either existing, in development, or of your own imaginings)?

My picks:

Joe Flanigan - too hot to be off the small screen for long, plus I have a feeling that he's a better actor than SG:A ever let him be.

Torri Higginson - to compensate for the unfair way she was treated.

Paul McGillion - recast the next Trek movie and make him Scotty already!!!

David Nykl, Robert Picardo, Mitch Pileggi - good character actors are always useful, but I'd like to see all three cast more against type.

Connor Trinneer - needs his own show.

Type of show: I always prefer sci-fi though a strong cable show that breaks the rules of the genre its nominally in (Damages, Dexter) or just a pure original (Mad Men) would also be an option.

Robert Picardo should be a demographics analyst on 30 Rock.

Joe Flanigan should be the manager of Cheesecake Factory on Big Bang Theory, as the guy Penny has the hopeless crush on.

Rainbow Sun Franck should be a grad student on Numb3rs.

Jason Momoa should get a gig on some Fox show, just to reward him for the 'do, since Fox shows can't be harmed by bad acting.

The others can do commercials?

Joe Flanigan - Should do comedy. Going Boldly Nowhere should find room for him as a recurring space pirate/Han Solo knockoff.

Torri Higginson - Oh-so-sincere and dedicated CTU agent on 24. Either love interest for Jack, evil turncoat mole or killed tragically. Possibly all three.

Paul McGillion - Star Trek needs to beam him up.

David Nykl - Joins Dexter as a mega-creepy serial killer who decides to target Dexter Morgan as the ultimate challenge.

Robert Picardo - Hard-bitten local cop on the CBS murder mystery Harper's Island (launching this winter).

Mitch Pileggi - Clueless hubby in Suburban Shootout (being developed by HBO) whose wife is involved in secret gang warfare between housewives in their upscale neighborhood.

Connor Trinneer - Lead role in Carter Beats the Devil, about a magician in the 1920s (being developed by AMC).

I had an idea a few months ago about a noir style comedy starring David Hewlett and Paul McGillion with David Nykl as a the creepy antagonist.

Hewlett, Staite, Nykl, Picardo and Trinneer.

Hewlett because I'd like to see him play a serious character. Staite won't have trouble getting work, she's far too pretty. Picardo won't have any trouble either, he's one of TV and cinema's best character actors and those guys don't have trouble putting food on the table. Besides, as long as John Landis is working Picardo will be too.
