Where for you are the worst place/s to visit, using a sci-fi Stargate ?

KL700

Lieutenant
Where in either the real universe or real world, the Star Trek world,
the Stargate SG1 and/or Atlantis TV worlds, or any other sci-fi worlds from cinema, TV or books you greatly admire, or greatly dislike much more than others, would in your view be the worst place/s to (humorously or seriously) accidentally end up visiting using a Stargate if you had access to one and please give a (humorously or seriously witty) reason why, for each place named.

Re: Where for you are the worst place/s to visit, using a sci-fi Starga

I'm guessing the planet being swallowed up by a black hole would be a bad start.

Any planet about to be destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass. Imagine coming through the gate and finding out to planet is going to go boom faster than you can redial, Can anyone say Oh Sh--BOOM!

That's why Farscape worked so well. Imagine if you were an astronaut out in space and all of sudden you find yourself in another part of the Galaxy, Earth is nowhere to be seen, and some sick, crazy military guy that looks like a lizard is hunting you down!

That would be bad for me, getting transported to a place in space where I am alone and the only Human around.

Re: Where for you are the worst place/s to visit, using a sci-fi Starga

LV-426. Scariest place in space. No thank you.

I'd also hate Mustafar and Hoth for extremely opposite reasons of weather conditions. Add a penal colony and you have Crematoria, the planet where you have to outrun the sunrise, and Rura Pente. And since I don't do well in extreme weather, let's add Vulcan, Andoria and Tattooine to that list. Oh and Ceti Alpha V.

Finally Fury 161 was the most doomed, nihilistic, ass-end of the universe place in all of sci-fi. Another penal colony, this one with bald, lice-ridden religious zealots. Nope. Dial the gate and open the iris for me.

Actaully first its some angry military guy that looks human hunting you down becuase you accidently killed his brother THEN some sick, crazy military guy that looks like a lizard will hunt you down after he takes the anrgy guy's ship.

Borg Homeworld.

The forest moon of Endor.

It's what Professor Farnsworth meant when he said Teddybear Junction was the worst scum-hole in the galaxy.

Re: Where for you are the worst place/s to visit, using a sci-fi Starga

How about the Aliens' home planet. :wtf:

And wherever the critters in The Mist came from. Maybe that's getting more into alternate dimensions.

Or whatever was the penal colony planet on Alien 3. Basically any place inhabited by the Alien.

Don't think I would be interested in landing up amongst the Predators either. I like my skull and vertebrae linked to the rest of my bones too much!!
