in the BBC Sports Person Of The Year shortlist?

Three golfers, and the regular can't-win-wimbledon tennis entry... But no girls! I'm sure we have some actual winners in Britain, champions in their sports, but they're female, so apparently don't count... WTF? Where the fuck is Mark Cavendish on that list? Anyone but him winning this award would be a travesty. The first British road race World Champion since Tom Simpson and dominating sprinter of the last several years. I suppose he could win it next year after winning the Olympic road race, but chances are there will be other candidates then as well. And for cycling prestige the World Championship far outweighs the Olympics anyway.
