When would starships overtake TV broadcasts from the 50's

Considering EM Waves travel the the speed of light 186,000mi/sec, in vaccume and we have been sending the episodes of I Love Lucy...ect how long would it take a 22/23 cent Starship. If the Ep's of Lucy had a 350 years head start. How long would it thak the starship to overtake the E/M waves and get to watch the first Ep's of Lucy ????

P.S I suck in math and thought some of our talented Trekbbs are better equipped in math, then I to figure this one out...

^They won't. They would appear as background noise on their sensors. They wouldn't be able to watch anything. Even if we went to Alpha Quadrant, we won't able to watch anything from 2006 clearly.

I think those signals only go as far as 1 light-year (probably even less) before they become more or less just static.

...Of course, analysis methods in the future may have developed in surprising ways, and a dedicated effort into recovering the signal might succeed. Some random radio operator on a starship would be unlikely to grab the transmissions, though.

OTOH, warp travel introduces the potential for time travel, in which case one could watch I Love Lucy live from low Earth orbit back in the 1950s, or even infiltrate an unsuspecting 1950s household and watch it from their sofa.

^See Future's End :) I bet it was I love Lucy on one of those channels being shown on the screen Neelix and Kes were staring at, at one point.

That could have been an interesting idea for Voyager. Instead of Tom Paris having a 20th century fetish for no real reason, have him, and perhaps others from the crew develop an interest in the 20th century because they were receiving television broadcasts from the 1950s.

No, I don't care how plausible it is or isn't.

I was thinking something similar except it could explain the 60's fetishism of The Original Series. :P
