we saw a true Prime Timeline story in Trek? Since TOS or during TNG??? The movie would have us think the Spock we see is the TOS Prime Spock. But I dont think so.

Well, what would you consider a Prime Timeline? Where did things branch out, in your perspective?

The Countdown comics make it clear that old Spock is the Spock from Unification and 8-9 years after the events of Nemesis, as Romulan politics and the post-movie futures of the TNG crew play heavily into the story.

Thats the problem I guess the shows or movies never make it clear. I used to think that when something was changed (Yesterdays Enterprise) and put back to normal that we were again in the Prime Universe and only "second" Tasha was out of the loop. But Im not so sure any longer.

Well the writers looked at the Parallel TNG episode where there was that "Space-Time" rift that sent every Enterprise-D to the same spot. So everything that could happen, does happen.

That being said, most of Trek would say otherwise, as far as First Contact, Yesterday's Enterprise, the Temporal "ColdWar", etc.

So there may be only ONE prime timeline.

But here's the fun thing....since they used "red matter" maybe that was time + reality....haha
