Has there been a STAR TREK movie that you were really saying to yourself "man, these movie trailers to this new Star Trek movie are so fricking cool!!! this movis is going to rock", and the hype came, directors promising a new this or that...and then...you saw the movie and the poop popped? You felt like the wind had been taken from your wings and you crashed to pits below, came out of that theatre and said....WTF was that???

Yes, for me, it was Nemesis..I totally bought into the crap Logan was saying and Baird and, yes, Stewart and Spiner. All four of them pulled one of Trek's greatest con jobs, IMO.

I'd have to day that most movies (including trek ones) fail to live up to the trailer. Even if a movie is very good, trailers are made to make a movie look about 12.3 times cooler than they actually are.

Which is why this WALL-e intrigues me...I didn't get anything out of the trailers but it is kicking ass on Rottentomatoes...so I am staying home from work tomorrow and taking my son to see it...
