When characters have (willingly) donated parts of themselves.

If Icheb counts with his cortical node (not a natural part of his body), you could probably count Seven as well when she donates nanoprobes (for example, to revive dead Neelix), even though I doubt that was out of 'love' and the 'donation' was much smaller than that cortical node.

It'd probably be analogous to someone donating blood.

Considering the difficulties in getting enough people to do that in the real world I would probably give 7 more credit

If you still want to additionally list unwilling donors, I add Chekov the pincushion from "The Deadly Years" and McCoy donating his body to Spock as a temporary house for his katra.

Also in "THE DEADLY YEARS", Kirk volunteers himself as a test for the serum. (Circumstances made this decision for him in his mind, as he needed to be on the bridge durung the attack.) That's donating your body to science and to help save others.

McCoy did the very same thing in "MIRI" when took the antidote for himself to test.

In DS9's "THE QUICKENING", all those people who volunteered to help Bashir find a cure. And Ekoria sacrificing herself so her baby can be born, which ended up being a great decision as the baby was born without the Blight.

In the list of unwilling donors, add Riker and Pulaski when their dna was stolen in "Up The Long Ladder".

Kirk in "WHAT ARE LITTLE GIRLS MADE OF?" when Korby copies his mind into an android Kirk.

Riker donated his whole body to a Trill, just so Bev could get her freak on

Picard donated his mind to Sarek for diplomtic purposes. That's gotta count for something

Correction: Riker temporarily donates his body so that the negotiations could continue. And only then did Beverly decide to use him as a pommel horse. ;)

I'd wager a mouthful of latinum that Riker had some side game going on there :guffaw:
