When are they re releasing the other films at the Cinema?

So, I have thoroughly enjoyed ‘Star Trek: The Motion Picture’ and ‘The Wrath of Khan’. When do we get the other films? Have they been remastered yet? Is there any plan to release them again on the ‘big screen’ too? They can go all the way up to ‘Nemesis’ if they want to. I would *love* to see directors cuts and remastered versions of ‘Nemesis’ and ‘Insurrection’ one day, though I have already watched all the TNG films in the cinema. The only TOS film that I watched on the big screen was ‘The Undiscovered Country’, I was very young at the time though it was a memorable experience - one of my first ever trips to the cinema. I think that the film I watched before this was Santa Clause the movie, though I can’t remember watching that.

Of course, ‘The Voyage Home’ and ‘First Contact’ would be the most popular choices for a re release. Maybe they don’t even have to bring them out again in order? Though it would make sense for them to do so. :D

Everyone has been left on a cliffhanger now wondering what will happen to Spock! Is he *really* dead?!:wah:

We know all six TOS movies plus First Contact have had new remasters done, so it's very likely that if the other three TNG movies haven't been remastered for 4K re-release, they will be soon. So far, TMP, TWOK, and TVH are the only ones to have theatrical runs of the remaster (TVH's "peg" was the release of the first batch of 4K discs and the movie's 25th anniversary).

An alternate cut of Nemesis would be nice, or at least the means to make our own. It is an unloved film, but a proper film scan of some deleted scenes (okay, that one deleted scene) would be wonderful.

TVH already had it earlier this year, or was it last year, with the remastered version being screened in theaters.

Just my opinion, I don't think it's likely that TSFS, TFF or TUC will get the Fathom Events theatrical treatment. They were never the "big events" like TMP or critical and popular hits with wide appeal like TWOK and TVH.

I noticed Cinemark is showing The Voyage Home Sunday and Wednesday next week. I'm thinking about going to the Wednesday Showing.

Ah, Indysolo started a thread about Cinemark showings a couple weeks back, but nobody responded:

First: Contact is showing on the 18th and the 21st, and then Star Trek (2009) on the 25th and the 28th.

I don't come into this forum very much, so when I was watching the final credits of Wrath of Khan on Monday I came in and saw that thread. Not sure why they are showing Voyage Home, but I would love to see all the Trek films on the big screen and I have 3 (3, 4, 5) to go.
