What's your prized piece of TNG memorabilia?

Lt. J'Korta

Ensign
Red Shirt
Mine would either be my photo with John DeLancie or my Sela action figure autographed by Denise Crosby. Oh, and I love my "Trekkie" hoodie! :grinning:

A star from outer space
by Ian McLean, on Flickr

"A Star from Outer Space": The twinkle-wall or star field (it moved via a revolving drum in some scenes) was made up of thousands of tiny reflective mirrors (mylar) glued to black Duvateen fabric.

Little Bandi house on the prairie
by Ian McLean, on Flickr

Originally located on Deneb IV, somehow this little cottage was transported backwards through time and space - and is now situated on a plot of grass from the Genesis Cave ("Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan"). Yes, it's my "Little Bandi House on the Prairie". The little clay tabletop-model houses from "Encounter at Farpoint" were broken up from the miniature Old Band City - and attached to dozens of Christmas cards given out by the SPFX guys to the cast and crew.

Star Trek set passes for guests and visitors

Left: "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (TNG) set pass # 29.
Right: "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" (TMP) set pass # 12. (Note that the two productions even shared the same font at one point!)

I have autographed photos of the entire main cast (except Wheaton), courtesy of the old Creation conventions.

For those that don't know, in the early 90s Creation Entertainment used to have pretty cool one-day (occasionally two) weekend conventions. It was general admission (tickets were about $20), and was a relatively small operation featuring only a dealer room and a main stage. The highlights of the main stage program were usually a behind the scenes crewmember and a maincast guest, interspersed with trivia contests, fun Creation produced Trek music videos, etc.

Best of all, general admission included an autograph session with the cast guest - so all of my cast autographs are personalized.

Aside from a bunch of VHS copies of TNG and DS9 episodes, don't really have any.

Actually, I also have a "Picard facepalms" T-shirt, but that's new.

I have the TNG blu rays. I'm not really a collector but I do have a photo of Picard signed by Patrick Stewart. Got that at the convention a few years ago.

My main thing I tend to collect for Star Trek are screenplays, any draft or production revision I'm able to find, but occasionally I get lucky and snag some autographed or production-used ones. I've got a highlight for basically every pre-Kelvin timeline era.

For TNG, it's the production-used copy of the Generations shooting script that was signed by the entire TNG cast, Shatner, Doohan, and Koenig. Shatner, of course, signed the cover in the dead center of the page, on top of the Starfleet delta logo the studio printed on it.

TOS, it's a signed copy of The Undiscovered Country's script from one of the production accountants with the entire cast's autographs.

DS9, it's James Conway's personal working copy of The Way of the Warrior's final draft script, with pages of camera angle notes, blocking sketches on set blueprints, etc.

VGR, it's a copy of Caretaker, signed by Kate Mulgrew.

ENT, a Connor Trinneer-signed final draft of These Are the Voyages, with blue and pink revision pages.

They only tangible thing I can think of are pictures from the Star Trek 30th anniversary gala at Paramount. I was in the stands and snapped pictures of almost every TNG cast member who was present on the red carpet (and of course TOS, DS9, and VOY as well).

Otherwise, I have a few fun memories. I once took a tour of Paramount while ST: FC was filming. A Borg extra, who was on break from filming the deflector dish scene, came over and talked to the group. Later on, Jonathan Frakes emerged from a building, nodded at us, and was whisked away in a golf cart.

I have Gates McFadden's shooting script of "Preemptive Strike" (still called "The Good Fight") signed by her. It also includes call sheets and a big envelope with old pages that had been replaced after rewrites. It's a tangible piece of TNG history and I really, really love owning it.

The action figures by Playmates from the 1990s. I never did get the bridge playset, though.

Kor
A few years ago I started buying the action figures on Ebay and Amazon. I have the complete second series (the ones with the trading cards inside). I also got the complete DS9 first series and I'm working on the Voyager set. I also have all the ones from the first series that Galoob put out. I'm just waiting til payday to buy Commander Data and figuring out when would be a prudent time to drop$50+ on the "Evil Ferengi Leader".
