It's 2009. How are YOU getting on the internet?

And, if you're still on Dial-Up, in God's name WHY?! ;)

Wireless Broadband. But I hate Cincinnati Bell. They are consistently unstable.

J.

broadband cable courtesy the great firewall of china. need a vpn for all the good sites.

But at least I'm not DIAL UP!!! hahahahahahahaha

I have 10Mb broadband cable at home, and mobile Internet when I'm away. The former is immensely preferable, you get so accustomed to faster speeds.

Cable broadband.

But hubby also uses his phone for email and Google when we are out and about.

We also have wireless, as hubby has a laptop but we rarely use it. There's my desktop, his desktop, the server, the cpu we use for a dvr, the laptop and a little backup computer that looks far too much like a toaster.

6 computers for two people, plus a G1 phone. Seems a bit excessive but that's what happens when you marry a computer guy.

I'm on DSL and use a wireless router for laptops. Our city was supposed to put in the first solar-powered wireless but the contractor didn't follow through so we're now left with zilch. :(

Built-in wireless on laptop and netbook from Bell :techman: Excellent service here in Canuck land :D

I'm on DSL at home and something much faster at work (not sure what exactly). However, I'm about to move into a new house that's a few miles out of town, where neither DSL nor cable is available. There are a couple of wireless ISPs around here that I'm going to try, but I've heard some bad things about them concerning reliability, speed, and customer service, so it might be like going back to dial-up. I'm a little worried.

Because some people still live in a area where the only internet provider hasn't and won't upgrade the system.

Cable for me, but my parents don't have a choice. Despite people thinking that high speed internet is everywhere.
