What's your favorite "Shatnerverse" novel?

I think the audios are the best experience, because then you get to hear the Shat read them.

And do voices for all the other characters!

Okay, so it's not really like he tries all that hard to exactly imitate them, so it's still kinda fun to hear his take. I distinctly remember listening to The Ashes of Eden, but I can't remember if I ever listened to any of the later ones, to hear his Picard.
 
I felt betrayed reading my first of them, The Return, as a kid. "Shatnerverse" is very apt.

But they were enjoyable as pulp Trek...uh-huh; I did just write that.

The closest to normal Trek of them is Ashes. Spectre was also very good even if its sequels didn't amount to much. I stopped reading after Preserver. If I'd have known better, I would have at Spectre.
