To have this different and make the outcomes less obvious, I want to take out all the potentially sentimental favorites (the original, the refit, the D) and focus on all ships Enterprise that were introduced after 1994 and were the main ship in a series or movie.

Like I said: this is for main ships only. Sorry Enterprise-J!

But wouldn't that just leave the Sovereign Class, NX-01 and JJ-Prise? If that is the case, I vote for the Sovi :).

JJ-prise. I just love the window viewscreen. Star Trek should have introduced this concept ages ago.

Of the ones given it's easily the NCC-1701 from the new movie. Ryan Church's design is a beauty. The NX-01 design would be a runner-up, though ...

Mach5, where'd you get that wonderful image from? Is that actually from the movie?

Lets just say I stumbled upon that screencap online :techman:

No contest.

The NX-01 somehow manages to simultaneously blatantly rip off the Akira yet have none of the appeal of the Akira (I love that ship). It's kind of impressive in a strange way.

The STXI 1701 is the only TOS Ent I really like, but only marginally more than the refit 1701.

The Ent-E, though! Until something else comes along and really blows me away, the Sovereign-class starship is quite possibly my favorite ship in all science fiction. Absolutely beautiful.

Out of the ships you have listed, I would choose the Enterprise-E, the Sovereign Class. That one was very nicely done.

The NX-01 and Sovereign were both very sexy, so I voted for the NX-01, since it doesn't have those silly red bits at the end of the saucer of the Sovereign. The JJPrise is a hideous deformed thing.

The Enterprise-E, although sentimental reasons (I was a heck of a lot younger when it was unveiled, needless to say) certainly play their role here, it's, well, a memorably distinctive design. The Abramsprise is clearly a reworking of the classic model, and the Akiraprise is, well, exactly what it's blithe nickname suggests.

I voted for the NX-01. For those who whine about it looking nothing like Kirk's Enterprise, I'm glad it doesn't. Kirk's Enterprise was a product of the 1960's with vibrant colors and other funky things. The NX-01 gives you that cramped feeling that is described in other Treks.

The JJ-Prise's bridge looks like Bill Gates threw up.

I think the 1701 gets my vote. I love the E-E, but the 1701 is is such a great amalgam of new and familiar elements. And the way it was filmed just made the ship so huge and epic. Absolutely loved it.

I voted for the E. I have my reservations on some parts of it, but for me it's the most complete. The JJ-version I like, but the Bussard collectors just don't do it for me.

I also agree with the comment above about the JJ-Enterprise viewscreen "HUD window." Really cool idea. However, I have to wonder what would happen if a tiny space particle gets missed by the deflectors and hits the screen while traveling at warp. Also, there's no windshield wipers. If the Klingons shoot over a few gallons of paint, it's time to break out other visual sensors and order a Red Shirt to go outside with a squeegee.

I'll be another to tip the scales in favor of the Enterprise-E. I found it the most graceful and poetic-looking, after the refit.

My vote is for the E-E with 2 caveats- (1) the ship only looks good in FC, and (2) it has the virtue of having been introduced when I was 15.
