What's going on in the comics?

Can someone tell me whats going on in the comics, like a detailed summary per comic, so that I know what the back story to XI is about?
I'm not a comic book guy...I don't know where to get these comics from (online? target?) and it would be nice if someone can break down what has been happening.

Spoiler: Spoilers I know of so far

I've heard things that romulus explodes, killing neros wife, so he wants to kill kirk; then i've also heard that they restored all of Data's "data" into B4/B9 so Data essentially lives and somehow that has something to do with XI.

The trade paperback omnibus will be available, once all the issues are out, and will be in regular bookshops - especially if the movie is a huge hit. Also Amazon.

Reading the Wikipedia synopsis so far, I'm not at all impressed with nthe idea of the new captain for the Ent-E. Much too fanboi.

I kind of thought the same thing, to be honest. As much as I like that character.

Hmm, this sounds pretty good. I enjoy comics, but haven't read much IDW Trek stuff. That may need to change - but I tend to wait for the TPBs anyway.

Good thing I'm good friends with all 3 comic book store owners in my area I get first pick on alot of there COUNTDOWN issue's(+ Varients) Ka-ching$ Plus it's a great read to boot!
