Whatley's Sliding (turbolift) Doors?

This guy, Whatley, worked for Chief O'Brien in The Assignment (S05E05).

Then Bashir Got Sleazy with this lady, Lt. Watley, in Trials and Tribblations (S05E06).

After which in Rapture (S05E10), Whatley is this guy because maybe his great grandmother hooked up with the wrong dude, because Julian Bashir is a dirty flirt, talking about his flap.

I see the difference in the spellings of her name from these two boys, but frankly I never heard it as different, so the spelling of her name is not canon, so you got to wonder how else the timeline changed after the team got back from Deep Space Station K-7?

Actually, after Jerry O'Connel left, they totally should have got Zoe McLellan to fill in for him every now and then as the Quinn Mallory of any new world that they slid too.

My suggestion is that Julian met Swingshift Whatley's grandmother, who now did not couple with swingshift whatley's grandfather at all, but instead had coitus with Admiral Whatley's grandfather, because Julian bumped her destiny by 20 seconds in a turbolift, and she missed the right penis.

Swingshift Whatley doesn't exist anymore because his grandparents failed to frakk.
