What you did or didn't like about TSFS....

Too many TJ Kirk moments, inconsistent with his generally more nuanced and James T. Kirk-like self in the previous film; surprised Kirk was not riding the hood of a shuttlecraft.

Ahahaha. *loves*

I thought the title gave away the big bang of the movie. Coming out of TWOK, we know that Spock's dead. Now because of the title of the next movie you're possibly spoiled. Spock's not dead? If he is, then why are we searching for him? ;)

The Enterprise spacedock escape / Excelsior chase sequence is one of my favorite all-time Trek moments. I think James Horner's score has something to do with it. On a bigger screen, there's a certain scale of massiveness that one feels when the Excelsior start thrusting forward.

The first uncloaking of the Bird of Prey was awesome. I don't think it has ever been depicted better. On the other hand, the bridge of that ship changed from this movie to the next. I also think the Enterprise self-destruct (exterior view) was nicely done.
