How do you think the teaser trailer would be like?
Hopefully it wont be like Episode 7. I found the trailer to be cute (maybe it is the Disney thing) but nothing really special that had me pumped up to see the film.
I hope they give Star Trek 2016 teaser the star trek 2009 feel where everything just looked bold , inspirational and completely new. the teaser trailer for the 2009 film had the reboot and new ideas feel to it and thankfully that was what the film was about.
the teaser for into darkness may be nod my head a bit because it showed the famous kirk/spock good bye scene from wrath of khan with the new actors that played kirk and spock and that made me worry because it had remake written all over it and my worries paid off. I didn't like the film a lot.
This is why I am hoping the teaser for star trek 2016 will be extremely different almost like another reboot feel for the star trek franchise like how James Bond was sort of rebooted again with Skyfall after Quantum of Solace which was just a very boring and forgettable film to me. Ironically Star trek 2016 is coming out on the 50th anniversary of the trek franchise as skyfall also marked the 50th anniversary of Bond, hopefully the similarities wont end there.
If Star trek 3 turns out like sky fall in terms of box office, critical reception, awards...I will be in geek heaven.
