What will be the Best Comic Film of 2016

Dales

Captain
Captain
X-MEN Apocalypse
Civil War
Suicide Squad
Gambit
Batman and Superman Dawn Of Justice
Deadpool

My Predication based for the best comic film of 2016 is.

1. Xmen Apocalypse

2. Dawn of Justice

3. Gambit

4 .Civil War (Ranking this a bit lower, becauae MCU is now dumb down for children)

5. Suicide Squad

6. Deadpool ( Sorry guys but I just find my ryan renyolds very annoying)

1. Batman/Superman
2. Civil War
3. Apocalypse

Those are the big three. I'm cautiously optimistic about Suicide Squad and Deadpool. While I like the character, I am not excited about a solo Gambit movie at all.

Mission Impossible VI, Scientology Revealed

Oh, ohohoh...sorry, you meant "comic" like "Comic Book"

Then, that has to be either "X-men: Apocalypse" or "Fantastic Four" - although I understand FF is delayed.

May 6: Captain America: Civil War
May 27: X-Men: Apocalypse
February 12: Deadpool
March 25: Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice
November 4: Doctor Strange
August 5: Suicide Squad
October 7: Gambit

Civil War
Doctor Strange
Deadpool
X-Men: Apocalypse
Dawn of Justice
Suicide Squad
Gambit

Which ever one floats your particular boat. None of them will be 'the best', since some people just don't like Batman, while other might hate X-Men. Not everyone thinks Captain America is that great.

So for some Deadpool will be the best movie, while there are a few Gambit fans out there who will be basicly decide that no more superhero needs to be made, ever, since they can now die happy.

Me....

I'm just sitting here thinking; how the heck I'm I supposed to name 'the best' comic book movie of 2016, when that year hasn't even started yet, and none of these movies have even been released? The effing problem with movies these days, is that people have formed an opinion before even seeing it. Just sit back, watch the movie, then decide.

We'll start this topic again on December 31st, 2016. People can post their feelings then.

If we're talking about "Best" as in most critically acclaimed or most popular with audiences, then probably Civil War.

But if we're talking about my personal favorite then most likely Batman v Superman. At least judging by how much I prefer the DC universe to Marvel and how much I loved MOS.

Well, it's hard to make a realistic guess since haven't even seen footage for most of the movies, but if I had to pick rank them based on which what little scraps of information we have I would go:
Captain America:Civil War
X-Men: Apocalypse
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Deadpool
Dr. Strange
Suicide Squad
Gambit

My guess would be Civil War. I also have high hopes for Dr Strange. The rest will make money, and I'm sure I'll catch them at some point. I'm just not as enthused. As has been said up thread, the anticipation is a matter of taste.

Out of sheer curiousity.... what does that mean? I honestly don't know if that's agreeing or disagreeing or neither....

All of the above is cool, ofcourse, each to his own. I'm just curious. I recognize the style as being from Family Guy, but I'm not familiar enough with that show to get the joke.

Heh heh, it's Buzz Killington, a character famous for taking the joy out of things. Used here in jest, of course : )

X-Men
X2
First Class (as producer/creative consultant)
DoFP

... I thought Winter Soldier was good, not great, and in light of Singer's X-track record above, I'm gonna go with Apocalypse.

in terms of critical acclaim it will be xmen apocalypse singer has a quite spotless record with xmen and dofp was more accliamed than winter solider and better. honestly civil war may go down in falmes. people are sort of tired of tony stark and that goes for me, I found him very annoying in the last marvel film and now marvel are trying to turn civil war into avengers 2.0.
