What was the upshot of the Weir/replicator storyline?

I know I missed some episodes, but can someone summarize the end of this storyline--and any others you feel like?

Weir led the remaining replicators through the Atlantis Stargate to a gate located in space, so they are floating out in the void, hopefully mostly harmless now. It was a good ep.
