FC was very entertaining (more so than any of the other TNG movies IMHO). Thinking too much about time travel stories usually ends up being rather unsatisfactory, I think. It's fun but you can always find plot holes somewhere along the way. Obviously, they're more obvious in some cases than in others. But then this isn't a high concept science fiction movie, now is it?
