What was Captain Picard's most embarassing moment in TNG?

Gorn Captain

Commander
Red Shirt
The always dignified captain had so many great moments, but like anyone has had some downers as well. What were his most awkward or embarrassing moments?

I know he was in the midst of some soul cleansing cathartic stuff, but to me the fight with his brother Robert in the episode "Family" is fairly weak. A presumably combat trained Starfleet captain struggling with a senior citizen vintner.

That odd "horking up a tonsil-stone" noise he makes when talking to Beverly in "The Naked Now."

well I don't think he was supposed to be trying to truly attack his own brother with all of the hand-to-hand skills at his disposal.

^^^ Yes. It was his brother, not a mortal enemy.
Picard wasn't fighting for life-or-death.

You've never wrassled with a sibling or friend?
You don't really use all your might to kill them, right? Right??

I think it was in "Night Terrors" when the turbolift opens to reveal him screaming in fear. Also one of the most hilarious moments of the series, although I'm not sure if it was intended that way. :D

His cowering in the turbolift when he hallucinated a void outside of it in 'Where No One Has Gone Before' comes to mind.

Thankfully, there was no Ensign Nobody around for him to look silly in front of and spared him the embarassment of having to compose himself and pretend nothing happend.

Actually that was in "Night Terrors" when everyone in the crew was suffering from hallucinations due to sleep/dream deprivation and he was discovered by the bridge crew. The void he discovers/hallucinates simply causes him to step back in side the car, and then out again with a bit of a pause but no real "cowering in fear."

In darmok when he is trying to understand there language he drove me mad in that episode!!!! When the Walls fell WTF !!!!

Picard to admiral: "Its Captain Picard Day".

Admiral thinking: "Who gives a shit".
I think it's always interesting to see Picard interact with someone who he does not have rank over and who is not intimidated by him. Really changes the dynamic over what we're used to seeing.

Some good ones up there, particularly that weird noise in TNN and "Mr. Broccoli."

"It's Captain Picard Day," rocks as well.

I'll also throw in turning into a lemur and getting all scared-cat in front of Data.

I'd imagine that'd be enough to give him a complex about always looking first before stepping out of an elevator. And remember, it wasn't just a hallucination. Thought was reality there. If hadn't caught himself and had just stepped out... well, it would've been a long way down.
