So here is a new game. Let us associate a particular fruit with each of the Trek Series. Choose a fruit that you feel comes closest to matching the tone of a particular series. Since we are in the Voyager Forum, lets make the main emphasis on Voyager.

For me Voyager is a LEMON.

Enterprise is an CHERRY

TNG is WATERMELON

DS9 is CASTOR OIL

TOS is COTTON CANDY

Voyager is a papaya, it is exotic and super healthy and has peppery seeds and it's a very beautiful colour

teacake's got it but mahler, you should have said why you thought that. I'd say Voyager is canned mandarins from China. They're sweet, sharp, and (relatively to me) traveled a long distance to find it's home (in my belly).

VOY: Lemon, agreed. Just like when you call a car a "lemon."
ENT: Kumquat. It seems interesting at first. You want to like it, but in the end you just go "blech."
TOS: Pineapple. Exotic quirky sixties, lounges, drinks with umbrellas, etc. But it never gets old.
TNG: Pear. Not quite as boring as an apple, but almost.
DS9: Banana. Substantial, not too sweet.

I do, too; they reminded me of orange blossoms, hence the wedding bouquets. Orange blossoms smell rambunctiously good. I'm from Arizona, and my walk to work and university used to be on a street lined with orange trees.
