Mods: I would've put this in one of the Star Trek movie forums, but since this covers all Trek movies (both prime and Kelvin timelines) I figured this would be the best place for this question.

Me, it would be First Contact. There's just something about it that never gets old for me. I guess it was just the pure awesomeness of seeing the Borg on the big screen (as well as getting to actually see a fleet battle against a Borg cube that we never got to see in BoBW because of budget constraints). But that's just one of many reasons!

Technically, even though I think WoK is a better movie, I just love watching FC a lot more. Is that weird?

It’s not the best, nor is it my favorite, but I love rewatching it more than any of the others.

Wrath of Khan. It is the only one of the movies I actually put on an view from time to time. A distant second is First Contact.

The Search For Spock (closely followed by The Voyage Home). I love TSFS for many reasons, and watch it at least once a year.

Can't go wrong with TUC. Most Trek movies have a level of timelessness to them, which is great and all, but not Undiscovered Country. That movie could only have been made at that specific point in history. Star Trek is supposed to be a reflection of current affairs, and that movie showcases it best.

    I like "Beyond", beyond reason.

I think Simon Pegg is a better Scotty than the original Scotty.

At first I almost posted angry faces.
But.... James Doohan is Scotty. Scotty is James Doohan.

Generations. Yes, seriously. I recognize all its flaws, and yet, I completely dig it all the same. Part of it may be nostalgia, it being the first Trek movie I saw in theatres, but whatever it is, I just love watching and rewatching it.

The next one would be TWOK, though I don't imagine I need to explain why I watch that one so often.

That makes just about as much sense as saying that Robin Hood is Douglas Fairbanks.

2009. But I get a lot of rewatch enjoyment from them all.

    Except Insurrection.

It has depended for me. Back in the day I looked at Wrath of Khan so much it made me like it a bit less. Same with First Contact. And while I had a lot of issues with Star Trek Into Darkness but it's a very watchable movie. So right now, the Trek movie I'll just look at has been Into Darkness.

Generations. Don't start with me. It's nostalgia, mostly. When it was released life was easy and fun. Plus, as a big fan of TNG watching that cast on the big screen was my TMP moment, I guess. And, hey, it looks great. The shots of Kirk riding his horsey over the fields are stunning.

Indeed. If anything, Generations probably feels the most cinematic of all four TNG movies. Easily the best music of the four as well.

I'll rewatch TMP a lot as well, mainly because there's so much detail and it's such a visual experience, I honestly see new things almost every time I watch it.
