I'm not a big music guy, but I love documentaries and current events shows. So far, I've subscribed to the following podcasts:
- The Age of Persuasion, on CBC. It's a documentary show that talks about advertising and the art of persuasion, with a humourous twist. Great show
- The Current, also CBC. A current events show (duh). Also very good.
- As it Happens, CBC. Another current events show. Very good interviews with interesting people.
- C'est la Vie, CBC. It's about French-speaking Canada and the French language.
- Dispatches, CBC. Another current events show, focusing on international current events.
- The House, CBC, about Canadian politics
- NPR's Car Talk. I haven't listened to this one yet but it's been suggested to me by my mom.
- Power & Politics, CBC. Another Canadian politics show
- Quirks and Quarks, CBC. A science show. Think Popular Science on radio.
- Wiretap, CBC. A very odd but very funny and smart comedy program.
