What piece of future Treknology would you own?

We all know that certain Trek-fiction (concerning technology) has become science fact over the years. Now whether or not the piece of tech would ever truly be possible or not, which one piece of Treknology could you see yourself owning?

A replicator (food & industrial), so I need not ever worry about running out of anything.

My second choice, however, would be a tricorder, so I can always see who's or what's around me when I leave the house, as well as record important stuff I might see along the way so I can review and analyze it later.

I would like a transporter, but only if there were a receiving station on the other end. It's difficult for me to sit for too long in a car, bus, or plane. I could travel to many places I always wanted to.

I'll say Starship because 1. It's cool, and 2. I assume that it would have a holodeck, transporter, tractor beams, replicators and sonic showers.

So essentially I'd get 6 things in one! Yay me!

Hmm, that is a hard decision.... I´d like a replicator, a transporter and a starship mostly. However time traveling would be interessting as well.
Well, if I could choose only one piece I think I would want the transporter, because I am scared of car driving and so I could visit people fast without having to get into a car or something other of those weeled monsters on the streets.
But than if there would be the technlogy of transporters available, there might be not many cars on the streets anymore anyway.... (wouldn´t that be a relief!!!) well or maybe I take the starship, because if its a starship as we know it from Star Trek then it has a transporter and a replicator inside...so I coose one piece and get all three. You just said it has no shilds and weapons and it has limited warp.
Oh and I would like those ...how are they called..hyposprays...cause I am also scared of injections with needles... and those things have no needles.

For the poll I will choose the transporter.

I shall cheat and say a starship. Until I read those posts, I was thinking of which ONE Trek tech item to choose. If I could only have ONE it would be a replicator... I could replicate almost anything I really need or want, except a starship.

Yes. The starship on the list was not meant to have any of the other technological listings above. That would defeat the purpose of the poll. I simply ran out of space to say so in the poll options. The starship option in the poll is just a bare bones starship with limited warp. No shields, weapons, holodeck, replicators, tractor beams or any other fun gadgets. Now, maybe you could eventually trade for such technology with other races you visit over time. But that's it.

Anyways, I went with Parallel Universe traveling device because I would love to see the different possibilities of what could have been in other realities. Granted, I don't believe in alternate realities mind you. But if they existed for real and there was a way to visit them, I would really love to do so.

My second option would have been the Holodeck if I couldn't pick the Parallel Universe traveling device. It would be really cool to role play and have fun with your friends and family in there.

Replicator. I don't think I'd trust a transporter unless it was life or death.

Replicator. I would get anything I want from it, with the exception of large things and other pieces of technology on the poll. My second choice would be the holodeck, but the internet and TV serve the same purpose as it does.

It was a hard choice between replicator, or holodeck. Replicator won out simply because it can address many needs that a holodeck simply can't.

To cheat I would use the replicator to make all the parts and necessary instructions to make a DIY holodeck.

Transporter. I could take anything or go anywhere I wanted. That alone would cover my second and third choices of Replicator and Holodeck; And then some!!

I voted for Replicator for the simple fact that it can be made to replicate anything I place in it to copy, so long as there is power, you'd never run out of anything...... and a Replicator can be modified into a transporter, so I kill two birds with one stone.

And if the Replicator comes with all the things it can replicate in the future, then I'd also eventually end up with much of everything else on the poll.

Hmmm.. I went with that device McCoy put on his head. That would be a cool one to have. I would use it to help me finish my DS9 model. That think is a pain in the ass, and just as hard to put together as Spock's Brain.
