What novels would work in film form?

Garak234

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
Q Continuum Greg Cox -3 part movie
Mirror wars-episode part of a series.
Wonderlands Una McCormack -episode of discovery

Only the Discovery and Picard ones. All the actors are too old to adapt any of the other series books

If we assume that the novels would have been filmed at roughly the appropriate time for the actors involved, personally, I'd easily take The Battle of Betazed. Hell, swap it entirely for Insurrection, and things are pretty solid for me - a movie that ties in to the DS9 narrative of the Dominion War (plus Crell Moset connects with Voyager, so in one swoop we get connective tissue with the other parts of the franchise at the time), gives a spotlight to characters OTHER than Picard and Data, and has an already greater cinematic scope to it... I'd have been pretty damn happy with it.

Shatners' Trek novels would probably be a lot of fun if they were animated, I enjoyed reading them at the time but could never visualise them as live-action pieces.

Any from the DS9 relaunch really. Abyss stands out for me, it would have been interesting to see who would have played Locken, Bashir's genetically engineered foe, and Cole of Section 31.
