What MCU movies have you wanted the most

So in light of the speculation that Spider-man will finally be joining the MCU, but will be recast, I've been thinking.

I consider it a big loss that the Amazing Spider-Man movies couldn't have been in the MCU all along. If some sort of deal could have been made at the beginning of that series, instead of now, the two films could have been tweaked a bit, made better, and both the Spider-Man franchise and the MCU would have been made better for it.

I started thinking what other films do I wish they had made up to this point. The first thought I've always had is that I would have liked there to have been a "first" Incredible Hulk movie, his MCU origin story told in full instead of at the beginning of the "sequel" film. I know there had just been another Hulk origin story told not too long before, but I wish that they would have gone back after The Avengers and done the origin story with Mark Ruffalo.

Like everyone I also really want a Black Widow film. But since they seem reluctant to do that, I would have settled for something similar that fulfills two other wants that I've had. Hawkeye deserved more of an introduction that 3 minutes of doing nothing in Thor. And I would be thrilled to get a Nick Fury film. Merging these three ideas together, a Phase One movie titled Nick Fury and the Agents of SHIELD would have been amazing. This could have been a great further introduction to several characters leading up to The Avengers.

As a huge MCU fan, these are really the only three misses I think have happened so far. I have high hopes for the future and can't wait to see how things work out from here.

What does everyone else think about MCU movies you wish had been/ wish could be.

I want a Squirrel Girl movie, someone needs to be able to defeat Thanos. The whole movie could be her breaking the fourth wall and questioning the differences between the comics and the movies, even down to the costumes.

I think a Shield movie would be great too. They should do it like the Astonishing X-Men's first comic where, after receiving mixed opinions from the world, they set out to 'astonish' everyone with good deeds like publicly stopping super powered villains or rescuing powerful figures.

I love me my MCU, but we're getting so much of it already that asking for more strikes me personally as a tad nuts. That said, I would like to see Banner and Betty Ross continue or even put a final coda on their story. In an Avengers, or even an AoS ep.

... Yeah, what I guess I'd most like are more AoS/movie crossovers. I don't want a crazy amount, or to feel like stories are being forced to include major characters, but more guest spots a la Fury and Agent Hill would be awesome. And the Bus Gang definitely has to show up in the movies by the end of Infinity War at the latest.

Taking into account what they have the rights to and what they've done...I think the wasted opportunities here are (a) a Ruffalo Hulk film (but not another origin story--it would be great if they could give us some closure with Betty and do something with that pesky dangling Leader thread, though), and (b) a Black Widow solo film. I can understand their hesitation to do another Hulk film...I think he worked best in Avengers because he had the other characters both to play off of, and to carry the super-heroic weight while they were building tension about him becoming the Hulk. So why not kill two birds with one stone and give us a Hulk/Black Widow buddy cop film?

Well put. I hope Jeremy Renner's recent return to costume is for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I actually kinda like that idea. She was the one who went and got him at the beginning of "The Avengers," and he was the one who tried to kill her later in the movie when they were onboard the helicarrier. I could see them building a fun friendship with those two characters.
