I'm B and C. I have enough items to call it a collection, including outfits. Though I know a great deal of what was on screen, I wouldn't know the finer points without the help of a wiki page.

Mostly B, like primarily just the episodes (and some lit), have the encyclopedia and chronology but that's much secondary and don't care about the technology/specifications.

    Definitively A.

I've yet to see some episodes of DS9, the last few seasons of VOY, and pretty much most of ENT. But I've read all the manuals, the encyclopedias, and the chronologies.

    I'm such a nerd. :D

    A & B here.

I've got some paraphernalia, of course (which of us doesn't have any).

    I'm a neek?

A & B in terms of the shows and movies themselves. I own all of the movies on DVD, and a few odds and ends here and there, but I'm not a big merchandising person. Still, I am definitely hardcore.

I think the B and C option fits the closest but there are still some DS9 episodes and a couple seasons of Voyager that I haven't seen yet. I wouldn't say that I am an avid collector but I have bought enough books over the past decade that you could call my assortment of books a "collection."

There are options missing, such as "Star Trek is important to me, but it has not taken over my life". :)

None of the above. There's holes in my viewing of Voyager and Enterprise, I have some novels, tech manuals, and collectibles, but not nearly as many as I did 10 years ago. My love of Trek has sort of mellowed, and I try not to get caught up in the arguing over minutiae as I used to.

Closest to B, I guess. I'm into the stories and characters, but not so much the tech and hardware. (Although I do consult the tech manuals to get the details right in my books.)

And I'm a sporadic purchaser of Trek merchandise, but not a serious collector. I'm more of an impulse buyer. "Ooh, that's a cool tee-shirt! I should get that for this year's Shore Leave."

A and C. I just don't have time to watch the shows, and when I do I tend to skip a lot of episodes. I haven't seen a lot of DS9, Voyager or Enterprise, but I know a lot about them because of all the manuals, chronologies and message board discussions I read. For C, I tend to collect minis and models of the ships. And ornaments. And Burger King toys. And models that kitbash well with Star trek ships. I'm kind of into spaceships.

I watch it on TV, have the odd set of DVD's or a novel or two, rarely anything else.

I'm hardcore but of course it hasn't taken over my life. Just like some people are heavily into sport or music I'm into science fiction shows.
