What Is The First Thing You Will Do When This COVID-19 is over?

Just Wondering what the first thing is you would do when this whole COVID-19 is over with? And we can all have our normal lives back?

 

I already wanted to have a pizza party to celebrate my weight loss (self-defeating as that may sound ).
Now I want to have it just to celebrate being with people.

 

My birthday is coming up. I'll probably just postpone it until things are more normal.

 

I'll go out to lunch with friends to celebrate our birthdays.

 

The same thing I do every night: try to take over the world.

 

Go and finally settle in Spain

 

Hug the daylights out of a whole lot of people. And then take my elderly father-in-law out to eat at a sit-down restaurant.

 

Go to New Orleans.

 

Take a day off work and spend it at my salon & spa. I will desperately need my nails and hair done, as well as a massage.

 

First off - see my mum in the home she's stuck in...

After that, just being able to go wherever with worrying about it would be nice.

 

All the stuff I can't do right now... Resume my gym routine. Go see a movie at the local arthouse cinema. Go to concerts and festivals. And have a sit-down meal at some venerable old restaurant. I *love* to dine in. Take-out just isn't the same.

And, thanks to a tourism ad that was on top of the TrekBBS page a bit ago, I now aspire to visit Bozeman, Montana some day.

Nothing special. I'm already socially isolated, this whole "don't go anywhere except work/grocery store unless it's absolutely needed" situation is normal routine for me.

I will, however, wait until I feel like it and then take the tram and go to the nearby city's McDonald's and get some food. I used to do that from time to time before this whole crisis hit. (This is as far as it gets for me when it comes to "being among people".)

I’m going to use three sheets of toilet paper, and two squirts of hand wash.

 

First of all, I think we could learn from this experience. COVID-19 isn't the only bug out there. Lot of the habits we are developing would help us avoid future illness such as cold, flu, etc. It'd be more important for these of us with underlying issues.

Secondly, I'd absolutely go back to my watering hole, and browse the stores down the road.

 

Honestly I don't yet. Probably go to the movies with gold class tickets. But am thinking about a trip to Sydney at some stage.

 

For me It's over when my knee is fixed and the corona virus is over.

After that, I am going to visite the inlaws, my parents. Go to the swimming pool with the kids, and plan a evening alone with my wife

 

Just feel comfortable, wandering in the store, doing my weekly shopping.
Then later that day, spend an hour shopping in my favorite art supply store even if I only buy a $0.98 oil pastel.
