What if the Enterprise-E was destroyed at the end of Nemesis?

I watched Nemesis yesterday, I saw the battle at the Bassen Rift. I thinking that what if the USS Enterprise-E was destroyed during the battle at the Bassen Rift by the Scimitar? Here's the story what should have happened:

Data: We are losing structural integrity on decks twelve through seventeen, sections four through ten.

Geordi: Emergency forcefields are holding.

Riker: Evacuate those decks and reroute field power to forward shields.

Another hit and helmsman Branson's console explodes, killing Branson.

Riker: Lt. Static, take the conn station.

Static the Fox, a furry bridge officer took the helm.

Static: Sir, we have hull breaches are on multiple decks. Forcefields are offline!

Geordi: We are losing antimatter containment!

Worf: We should eject the warp core!

Picard: No, we have to find the Scimitar as quickly as possible.

Another hit!

Static: Core breach is imminent!

And the Enterprise-E was destroyed with all hands lost, the Scimitar decloaks and Shinzon's vengeful of hunger is sated. Then Earth was destroyed by the Scimitar's thalloron radiation.

Hmm I dont know about destroying not only the Enterprise but then to also destroy Earth as the final scene of the movie. Would be a pretty depressing movie.

If you're gonna destroy the E and I presume by this post that is your desire then by all means but an Enterprise crew never lets the Federation down! Therefore the E when it rams the Schimiter explodes taking it out too thereby a noble sacrifice by all. Except those quick enough and smart enough to run for an escape pod.

I never liked the Enterprise-E. It never captured the sense of awe, as the TMP ship did, or the sense of "home" as the various TV series' ships did. It was just... there.
