What Have We Learned Today?

Today I learned I am a level 3 Geek!

I need a bath, but i dont feel like going upstairs.

I learned how to write about 50 kanji (and combinations of kanji) that I didn't know today for a Japanese test. And I'll probably forget all of them by next week since at this point (fourth year) all the kanji we learn are for words I will probably never ever use, like "agency for cultural affairs" and "commissioned report".

This is the danger of just using newspaper articles for class materials. Hopefully things will pick up when we start reading novels again.

I had a productive day in terms of learning new things:

I tasted a rather decent South African Pinotage and learnt what it should taste like & I finally found a Zinfandel I actually liked (Robert Mondavi Heritage Collection 2005). Two wines I wouldn't normally drink, so it was very educational.
