What happened to the replicators in the other galaxies?

ReadyAndWilling

Fleet Captain
hey guys, i remember early in season 7 that the replicators had turned their attention to the milky way galaxy. the replicators in the milky way were destroyed because of the weapon at dakara, so what happened to the replicators in the other galaxies?

I believe the Asgards lured all the replicators into their homeworld with the android, trapping them in the time dilation field. When they blew it up, only Fifth and his ship survived.

Fifth had been obsessed with Earth and Sam Carter. I don't think there were any Replicators (of the SG1 kind) outside of the MW anymore when Replicarter attacked. How the Dakara Weapon was able to get ships that weren't near a Stargate is a bit weird.

This is briefly touched upon in the extended version of Threads, where they do make it clear that although the Replicators in the Milky Way have been taken care of, there could still be some in other galaxies.

Mind you, after Atlantis, the Replicators have been done and if they ever show up on Stargate again, it'll be too soon. I'm sure they'll show up in SGU if it gets a third season. The third season of each Stargate series is when the Replicators are brought in.

I'll both laugh and cry if SGU has an episode titled "Infestation".
