What guest stars do you want in the Smith/Moffat era?

Dinosauricon

Lieutenant
A few off-hand:

Jim Broadbent. He's done a good deal lately, why not Doctor Who? Plus he played an incarnation of the Doctor in Moffat's charity spoof a decade ago.

Rachel Weisz-Reportedly a big fan even before the new series. She might be taking more dramatic roles now but it'd still be cool.

Patrick Stewart-this one was rumored, nothing confirmed at this point though.

Christopher Lee-probably not going to happen as he's said he's not fond of the program, but one can hope...

Any other ideas?

Patrick Stewart
Rachel Weisz
Bill Nighy
Philip Glenister
Alexander Siddig
David Suchet
Eddie Izzard
Kelly MacDonald
Stephen Fry
Hugh Laurie

Yeah, I have high hopes. :D

Just as a matter of principle, I'd like to see Bill Nighy, Stephen Fry and Robbie Coltrane in everything.

Other than that, Dara Ó Briain as the Meddling Monk.

Jack Davenport, Kate Issett, Gina...oh right, other than the cast of coupling!

Patrick Stewart
Hannah Spearitt
Emilia Fox
Alexander Siddig
Alan Rickman
Roger Moore (hey he did alias!)
Trevor Eve
Peter Firth
Paul Darrow
Sir Ian Mckellan
Kate Winslet (probably would have been more likely under RTD sadly)
Rose Byrne
Toni Collette
Guy Pearce
Keely Hawes

Obviously some are more doable than others

Sir Patrick Stewart
George Takei (so he can complete the 'set' of the three biggest SF franchises, Trek, Wars and Who)
Andrew Lee-Potts as a Connor-from-Primeval-esque male companion
Alexander Siddig
Holliday Granger since she's done Merlin, Demons and can't appear in Primeval
Emma Watson

Amen! As much as I love the Brigadier, I wish William Russell had been able to appear in The Mawdryn Undead like they originally intended. Ian, the Brigadier, and Romana are three characters from the classic series I want to see reappear the most.

Alexander Siddig--can't get enough of him.
Alan Davies--OK, I'm a Jonathan Creek fanatic. I can't help it.
Paul Darrow--just to hear his voice again.
Ian McShane--from lovable & charming to scary as hell in 5 seconds flat.
Julian Sands--he was born to play an alien.
Judi Dench--not going to happen, but she'd be a great Timelord.
