What got cut (Minor spoilers)

Doesn't sound like a lot, but I would've liked to have seen Nero and company fighting the Klingons.

I'm more bummed about the Klingon sequence being cut. Does anyone know which time period that Nero was imprisoned in? Assuming that the Countdown comic fills in the gap regarding the 24th century, then did he and his crew get caught by the Klingons of the early 23rd?

All in all, I hope that J.J. decides on doing an extended version for the DVD.
