what famous person would you like to meet and why

If we can have folks no longer alive, Adolf Hitler.

No, seriously - how much fun would it be to stick one on der Fuhrer's skull instead of on a weighted bag in a gym? Nobody'd crtiticise a person for working off some aggression on him!

I'd like to be able to talk to the writers of my favorite stories/shows/movies and ask about their thoughts behind the making of it, the process of writing it, like George Lucas and J. Michael Straczynski.

I'd love to meet Sheldon Solomon, and have coffee and conversation. He's a fascinating and brilliant dude, and really interesting to listen to.

What?

Oh, he's a Psychology professor in the States, helped form Terror Management Theory.

Not famous?

Oh.

Still, that's who I'd choose. :)

These are three people I would love to hang out with or have dinner and a conversation.

David Lynch - What a fascinating guy. He's had a few misfires in his career, but I love most of his work. The interesting thing about meeting lynch is I don't imagine us talking about his work or even films in general, just everyday average stuff. If you've ever seen Lynch give an interview, he's much more interesting when just talking about normal everyday stuff.

Woody Allen - I wouldn't mind talking to Allen, but I have no idea what we would talk about. I respect his work a lot, but am not sure if we would click. I think it would be interesting none the less.

Quentin Tarantino - I just want to talk about old movies with this guy. He's knowledgeable on the subject and hilarious. I could imagine a lot of laughter. I specifically think I would want to talk about westerns with him.

I'd like to have a round table discussion with Ron Moore, Bryan Fuller and Joss Whedon about the future of the science fiction and fantasy genres on TV.

Rita Hayworth-I adore her.

Living, Téa Leoni-I adore her too.

Olivia Wilde, I would very much like to try and get into her pants.

I'm honest like that.

Same purpose but with either Charlotte Lewis, Amy Acker, Olivia Williams, or Diechen Lachman. (Actually, in Diechen Lachman's case, listening to her talk with her Australian accent is probably close enough to sex that it would suffice.)

I'd like to visit the set of Law & Order so that I might bask in the legal awesomeness that is Linus Roache & Sam Waterston. (...And maybe try to get into Alana De La Garza's pants when I'm done.:p)

Ricky Gervais and/or Karl Pilkington. I wouldn't know what to say if I met one of my musical or acting heroes other than "I think your film/album is great"

At least with Ricky Gervais, you're instantly on level ground the moment you say that Karl Pilkington has a head like a fucking orange.

I would like to meet the following people currently alive:

Kevin Smith
Jennifer Aniston
Natalie Portman
George Lucas
J. Michael Straczynski
Joss Whedon
Brian Michael Bendis
Stan Lee

people who are dead:

Julius Caesar
Augustus Caesar
Abraham Lincoln
John F. Kennedy

The Mythbusters - Jamie Hyneman, Adam Savage, Grant Imahara, Tori Belleci, and Kari Byron :D
Mike Rowe
Eddie Olmos
Mary McDonnell
Bear McCreary
Sharlto Copley
Peter Jackson
Stephen Hawking
Bill Nye
Greg Grunberg
Wil Wheaton

Abraham Lincoln
Carl Sagan
Steve McQueen

John Adams. After reading the book on his life I think this is a man whose ideas Are needed once again.

For a living person I would go with Mel Brooks and Don Rickles. Two funnier people you will not meet and they will soon join the other list. Very sad.

President Obama and Christopher Hitchens, ideally at the same time.

Al Gore would be pretty great also. On the arts side, Nicholas Meyer and Springsteen.

On the babe side, Rachel Weisz or Emma Watson. I bet that, after a pleasant conversation, I could at least get them to give me a peck on the cheek... eternal bragging rights, undying source of mojo. :p
