Mostly cuz I’m curious, but also because so many of the other discussion are just damn depressing...

What established Trek alien races, would you like to see reintroduced and fleshed out as the series moves forward?

    1) Deltans. Discovery being a streaming show and basically CBS’s “prestige” drama I’d love to see the Deltans show up and fully explored as a culture.

    2) Those little gold guys from Journey to Babel.

    3) The Caitians, cuz you know, cat people in spaaaace.

    Klingons.

But seriously, maybe the Denobulans. It'd be nice to see what they're up to in the TOS era.

Also, either the Sheilak or the Tholians. CGI being what it is, it’d be nice to see some non-humanoids make an appearance.

If they do, I hope they go the TOS Movie route (that admiral in TVH) with them instead of the nuTrek one (those twins Kirk has fun with).

Betazoids, Cardassians and Bajorans. Because the canonistas will go crazy.

Bring back TOS style Romulans and kick the crappy boring B&B era Romulans into the trash.... though canon wise can't see Romulans for this show of course, but they don't care about Canon, so bring back my suave, honourable, seductive Romulans.
    Caitians.
    Tholians.
Bring back some "Can't even tell they're not human" races and make them all look alien.

That would be so sad... the Cardassian makeup was always my favorite one. But, perhaps if I could get used to the Klingons I could get used to an updated Cardassian as well... and of course the updated Andorian makeup gives me hope.

Human beings, at some point. That might make sampling the show worthwhile again.

I say Nausicaans. Enterprise already changed them up from TNG so who cares is Disco takes a shot.

That part of me yearning for fanwank wishes to see Trills just so that we could learn what Dax is up to in this time frame.

Was it ever established when Emony died though? Memory Alpha dates Audrid's life to the mid-to-late 23rd century as well.

Maybe they passed the symbiont around like a pair of travelling pants?

    I'd like to see:

Tholians. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get even a mention of them during the MU arc.

Benzites. Considering Benzar got named dropped it would be cool to see one.

Maybe have some trill and betazoid crew members running around.
