They go and discover an amazing mindboggling stupendous thing like a Dyson Sphere, which by itself could have been the setting for a whole new spinoff series, and relegate it to trivial importance in the plot. I would have loved to see them explore just a little.

Plus it had Scotty.

You all might think I'm nuts but I would have liked to seen a little bit more of Lwaxana Troi after The Muse. Maybe either not had her leave at the end of the episode and be a character in a couple of "C" storylines before leaving. I'd have liked to have seen her once when Odo was humanoid. I always thought she played the best off of him, or at least she got to play seriously off of him. I've always had a soft spot for Majel Barrett, so that might explain it.

I just saw an episode tonight which I think would have been a great 2 or 3 parter

They rushed the first 5 hosts just to get to Joran (Which, after watching Equilibium a few weeks ago, they shouldn't have made him be a Psychopath) and Curzon. Again, another one of those instances where Curzon go more development than Jadzia. Would have liked to learn more about the previous hosts, like Leela and the host who was good at Gymnastics, whom I think was called Emony Dax.
