What Does Smallville Do Really Well?

I wrote that, and I thought to myself, "I wonder if he'll actually rebut me on this, even if I put this winky emote at the end of it so he can't possibly miss the fact that it's a joke. Nah...". And then you did. Why?

And I've bought at least a half dozen of your books, so please don't think I don't respect you, because I do. I just don't understand why you feel the need to pick apart everything, even when it's not called for.

He's explained why he does this in previous threads...and yes I respect his ability as an author as well and consider myself a fan but get tired of the constant "nitpicking" is that the right term?

Another thing Smallville does really well is piss off it's fan base on a constant basis.

Smallville continues to give me some form of enjoyment as I tend to watch new episodes before Supernatural when going back to the DVR.

Christopher is one of my favorite Trek Authors, yet his ability to deconstruct a post can be off-putting at times.

I wasn't "deconstructing a post." I don't understand this overreaction to one sentence. I just thought that the point I was making had been misunderstood, and I was explaining my position more clearly. I wasn't attacking or judging anyone else. Don't be so defensive, people.

He wasn't being defensive, he was asking you why you felt the need to respond to his comment when there wasn't any need for you to reply, and we're not talking about deconstructing that one thread, there are numerous other examples to go by with your posts. As I've stated though you've made your reasons known before when confronted on this notion so I'm not going to continue harping on it.

couldnt see the other thread, but found this

Smallville' exec: '11th season possible

Smallville's executive producer Brian Peterson has refused to rule out an eleventh season of the show.

Earlier this year, The CW announced that the series will end after the tenth season.

Peterson has now admitted that he expects the show to finish but added that there is a possibility that it could be renewed.

"I can't say it's the first time the words 'season 11' have cropped up this year," he told E! Online. "As we've been pushing that it's the final season of Smallville, I think it's the final season of Smallville. We don't know [of any] plans, but we never bet against ourselves and the show."

oh for god sakes, let the show end, with whatever dignity it has left.

A digital spy story? Aren't they supposed to be bogus at times? Also I should add that Craig Bryne from Krypton Site dismissed that as being taken out of context and from the wrong source so I wouldn't believe it.

I started watching it late, sometime in the spring, but has made it to the ninth season (Seems like I have too much free time). What keeps me going is more or less the characters, which are among the best on TV. Not much of it nowadays, but the first seasons really did a good job showing the loneliness of Clark Kent.

true digital spy has an awful record, but I think its reporting on a E! Online article.

It is nothing more than Brian & Kelly being Brian and Kelly...S10 is the last season...they are just being stupid as usual.

If a S11 happens...I am done with the series. The only reason to do another season is because they have screwed up S10 to where they can't end it properly and the ratings are enough so they figure...what the hell.
