Sorry if I'm not supposed to post new threads; I know some forums are very strict about this, but I am wondering what IDIC means. Feel free to delete my thread after my ? is answered. :techman: Thanks!

It dates back to The Original Series episode "Is There in Truth No Beauty?" The abbreviation stands for Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations. However, some people at the time associated with the production felt it was just a glorified advertisement for a jewelry item Roddenberry wanted to sell to make more money off the show.

Yeah, Memory Alpha usually has less editorializing than you'll find in a forum post. ;)
